NYSCHECK Summer Academy 2025 – Environmental Health & Climate Justice Training Program

Join the NYSCHECK Summer Academy 2025, a free, part-time, virtual program designed for high school, college, graduate, and medical students interested in environmental health and climate justice. Over the course of eight weeks, participants will gain valuable skills and knowledge in children's environmental health and climate change advocacy.

This program offers:
✅ Fundamentals of Environmental Health – Explore the effects of climate change on public health, especially in children.
✅ Advocacy Skills – Work in teams to create impactful advocacy projects addressing climate and health issues.
✅ Real-World Application – Learn how to communicate environmental risks to legislators, clinicians, patients, and communities.
✅ Interdisciplinary Collaboration – Develop teamwork skills across various fields to build strong academic-community partnerships.
✅ Career Development – Gain insights into careers in environmental health and contribute to a healthier future.
